Competency-Based Working Principle

FITA Working Groups focus on addressing specific industry challenges and developing expert recommendations. All processes are conducted in a closed, confidential format.

Working format:

Thematic focus – any regulatory or technological challenge is developed by a team of professionals with relevant competence.

Closed format – the work process takes place in a closed mode, which ensures a free and confidential exchange of ideas among members.

Policy Working Group

Role: The strategic center of the association and the initiator of key decisions.

Composition: Directors and senior representatives of member companies.

Functions: Identifying industry challenges, generating new ideas, aligning positions on legislative and regulatory changes.

The Association's main working group is the Policy Development Working Group, which is where members identify industry challenges, generate new ideas, and coordinate industry positions on ongoing legislative/regulatory changes.

The initiated issues will be forwarded to the relevant working group for in-depth analysis:

  • Aml Working Group
  • Business Working Group
  • Cybersecurity Working Group

 

The relevant group prepares an expert report and returns it to the policy development working group for final formalization and approval.

Each working group is authorized to propose an initiative based on the topic of the respective working group and, after going through the process stipulated in the working group's charter, submit the project to the policy development group.

AML & Compliance Group

Scope of activity: Adaptation of international standards for the prevention of money laundering (AML), refinement of risk management methodologies and ensuring compliance of the sector with regulatory requirements. The group has internal, closed communication channels and products, access to which is allowed only to members of the association.

Composition: AML officers and legal department representatives of member companies.

3. Business Development Group

Scope of Activity: Supporting the strategic development of the sector, analyzing new markets and products, and advocating for the industry's business interests for economic growth.

Composition: Company directors, management representatives and industry experts

4. Cybersecurity Group

Scope of activity: Strengthening the resilience of digital infrastructure, developing unified standards for responding to cyber incidents, and continuous monitoring of data protection mechanisms.

Composition: Cybersecurity specialists and legal team from member companies.
